Inspiring people and leading adventures globally.
Spike Reid delivers awe-inspiring talks that simply blow the audiences away. He has a wide portfolio of presentations, covering everything from polar expeditions, circumnavigation the planet, summiting unclimbed mountains and his adventures in his own backyard. Spike has been very well received at conferences, universities, travel shows, schools and after-dinner talks.
Distinctive & Dynamic
Spike has an impact wherever he ends up. His audiences are told marvellous tales of adventure and his tour groups always ask to go on future trips with him. In communities like Project Awesome and The Yes Tribe he inspires others with quirkiness and get-up-and-go. He is also known for his positivity and his sense of humour. And his moustache.
Stand-up paddleboarding is the fastest growing watersport in the world. Spike has been doing it for years now and achieved some incredible feats on his board. He is the first-ever person to paddleboard down the full length of the River Ganges. The 98-day expedition was to raise awareness of single-use plastic pollution and featured on the BBC The Travel Show and Discovery Channel India. He also paddled down the River Shannon, around the island of Martinique, across England and along the entire Algarve.
Photographer with Punch
Spike has experience of photography in a massive variety of environments. His images from both the studio and the field have been award winning. Spike shoots with a Canon 6D, Fujifilm X100F, Mavic Pro and GoPro. He also manages to take stunning photos with just his iPhone.
